Ontario pledges more money for Stellantis EV battery plant

Premier Doug Ford said the Ontario government will put more money on the table in the deal with automaker Stellantis. It comes after Deputy Premier Chrystia Freeland called on the province to pay its fair share when the company halted construction on its Windsor facility that will manufacture electric vehicle batteries.
