A registered practical nurse died on Saturday after contracting COVID-19. The nurse worked at Trillium Health Partners for the last 13 years and most recently at the Mississauga Hospital, and was studying to become a registered nurse.
"Our colleague was a stellar, hard-working nurse who had a passion for nursing and making a difference," a statement to Global News from Trillium Health Partners said.
