A dangerous, ferocious snowstorm has smothered Nova Scotia, with some parts of the province seeing as much as 150 centimetres of snow.

The storm, which many in the region are calling “Snowmaggeddon 2024,” has left thousands without power, shut down schools, and triggered a local state of emergency in the town of Cape Breton.
