Nova Scotia Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Houston delivered his first speech as province’s premier on Tuesday after beating out Ian Rankin in a provincial election in August.

Along with Houston, members of his cabinet were also sworn-in.

The new premier spoke about the beauty of Nova Scotia and said he and his ministers would hold themselves “to the highest standards.”

Houston also said he would work to make life better for Nova Scotians.
