New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo denied the findings on Tuesday of a five-month investigation by the state's attorney general that found he sexually harassed multiple women in violation of U.S. and state law and created a "climate of fear" in his office.

"I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances. I am 63 years old. I have lived my entire adult life in public view. That is just not who I am and that's not who I have ever been," he said following the release of the 168-page report.

The investigation showed that Cuomo engaged in unwanted groping, kissing and hugging, and made inappropriate comments to a total of 11 women, state Attorney General Letitia James told a news briefing earlier on Tuesday.

When referring to the cultural gesture of kissing individuals on the cheek, Cuomo said he has been doing that all his life and those who raised complaints "sought to unfairly characterize and weaponize everyday interactions that I've had with any number of New Yorkers."

No criminal charges have been filed against Cuomo at this time.
