Sinn Fein has won the largest number of council seats in Northern Ireland's local elections. It overtook its unionist rivals. Last year, it became the biggest party in the Northern Ireland Assembly.
Its main goal is to leave the United Kingdom and reunite Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
