Chennai witnessed "No Shadow Day" at 12:07 pm this afternoon when shadows literally went underneath objects or people outdoors, giving an illusion of no shadow as the sun went overhead. NDTV's Sam Daniel caught this on camera and spoke to members of The Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Tamil Nadu Science Forum, who had organised several demonstrations across Chennai to help people understand this and develop a scientific temper.
