A snowmobiler in Wyoming’s Star Valley survived an avalanche after being buried under snow for several minutes on Monday, January 22.
Mason Mitchell Zak was riding his snowmobile when he noticed the incoming avalanche and tried to ride away from it.
However, he ended up being buried under 2 to 3 feet of snow. According to a witness, he was under for several minutes before he was rescued by his friend Jake Dahl.
