Nicola Sturgeon's husband understood to have been arrested

Nicola Sturgeon's husband, Peter Murrell, is understood to have been arrested in connection with an investigation into the funding and finances of the Scottish National Party.

Sky News understands that Mr Murrell has been taken into custody to be questioned by detectives.

Police Scotland have said officers carried out searches at a number of addresses.
