In our news wrap Saturday, two 6.3 magnitude earthquakes in western Afghanistan killed more than 300 people according to a UN estimate and injured scores of others, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and a bipartisan delegation of senators met with Chinese officials in Shanghai during the first stop in a trip that will also take them to South Korea and Japan.
