Deadly Dengue Fever Spreads Across Western UP | The News

Fifty people, including 40 children, have died in western Uttar Pradesh 's Firozabad district in the last 10 days from what government authorities are calling "Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever" or a severe form of dengue. Other districts in western UP like Mathura and Agra are also affected. Actor Sidharth Shukla was cremated this afternoon in Mumbai, a day after his sudden death shocked his fans. A court in Delhi on Thursday came down heavily on Delhi Police for its probe into a 2020 riots case, saying its failure to conduct a proper investigation will "torment" the sentinels of democracy when history will look back at the worst communal riots in the national capital since partition.
