New Caledonia unrest: French leader travelling to overseas territory

French President Emmanuel Macron has just arrived in New Caledonia to try to calm the situation after days of violent protests. Demonstrators in the French overseas territory are angry after the Parliament in Paris approved changes to their voting system. Six people including two police officers were killed in the recent unrest.
