The stigma of infant and pregnancy loss continues to be a barrier for bereaved parents navigating grief.

For women who know they are pregnant, on average about one out of six will have a miscarriage.

A pregnancy and infant loss support centre in Calgary told Global News their client list has ballooned 300 per cent since the start of the pandemic.
