Azerbaijan's President says his country has regained control over the breakaway region of Nagorno-Karabakh after ethnic Armenian forces agreed to lay down their arms and disband.
A ceasefire has been agreed between the two sides after more than 24 hours of intense fighting.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has told an American news network that the kingdom is moving closer towards normalising relations with Israel.
But he says there needs to be progress towards the creation of a Palestinian state.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told the UN Security Council that Russia should be stripped off its veto power for what he called its criminal and unprovoked aggression.
Zelenskyy was speaking at the UN body for the first time in person since the conflict began.

Poland says it will no longer provide weapons to Ukraine.
The announcement came just hours after Warsaw summoned Kyiv's ambassador in a row over grain exports.
Poland has banned Ukrainian grain imports to protect the interests of its farmers.
