The Titan submersible which went missing on a mission to the wreck of the Titanic may have less than 20 hours of oxygen remaining, Rear Admiral John Mauger from US Coast Guard has told BBC News.
He described the rescue mission as a “complex and difficult case” and said his team is working "very hard" using “all available resources”.
Contact with the miniature sub, which has five people on board, was lost on Sunday as it made a 3,800m descent to the Titanic wreck.
