Culture Secretary Lucy Frazer was quizzed by Kay Burley over whether the government will commit to staying within the United Nations' Refugee Convention.

But the minister refused several times to explicitly support the agreement.

The exchange follows Home Secretary Suella Braverman's controversial speech in New York on Tuesday, when she suggested the international agreement was no longer fit for purpose.
