Michael Gove defends Rochdale housing association funding cuts

The Levelling Up and Housing Secretary Michael Gove has told Sky News it is "not right" for taxpayer money to be going to housing organisations if they are not taking care of their existing tenants.

It comes in the wake of the death of Awaab Ishak due to mould in his home.

Rochdale Boroughwide Housing has now been stripped of new government funding.
