The Government is proposing changes to the Holidays Act, including switching annual leave to an accrual system and prorating sick leave.

It comes amid years of issues of people receiving less holiday pay than they're entitled to.

Breakfast was joined by Alan McDonald from the Employers and Manufacturers Association and Rachel Mackintosh from the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions for more insight.
