Lung Damage Prevalent In Second Covid Wave: Doctors

The coronavirus strains spreading COVID-19 since the start of this year appears to be more powerful, doctors have said. These new strains are damaging the lungs 40 per cent severely than what the COVID-19 virus did last year. More and more young people this year are being treated with Remdesivir and also need oxygen, which was not generally the case last year, doctors treating Covid patients have said.
