Lt.-Gen. Jennie Carignan takes command as chief of defence staff in historic ceremony

Lt.-Gen. Jennie Carignan officially takes command of the Canadian Armed Forces as chief of the defence staff in a change-of-command ceremony in Ottawa. Carignan is the first woman to serve as the top commander of the Canadian military.
