The UN World Food Programme is dropping two million people from food support in Afghanistan. The agency blamed a massive shortfall in funding. The UN is raising the alarm over shrinking aid to the country, warning of a "catastrophe" if things don't change. It said the World Food Programme now has to choose between the hungry and the starving, in a country where most don't know where they'll get their next meal.
