Buckingham Palace announced Monday that King Charles has been diagnosed with a form of cancer. The statement said that the undisclosed form of the disease was identified after the King's recent treatment for an enlarged prostate.
The palace did not specify what kind of cancer the 75-year-old monarch is facing — but said that he has begun treatment.
The news comes a week after he was discharged from a private London clinic following treatment for his enlarged prostate.
Redmond Shannon has more.
