Killings of journalists surged 50% in 2022: CPJ report

A report by the Committee to Protect Journalists shows 2022 was the deadliest year for media workers since 2018 and an almost 50% increase from 2021.
At 67 Journalists and media workers were killed, including Al Jazeera's Shireen Abu Akleh, who was shot dead by Israeli forces.
