Sky's Deborah Haynes, who is in the Ukrainian city, said at least five drones were involved in the attack which lasted 16 hours and one person is known to have died.

Ukrainian media said the 16-hour air raid alert was the longest of the war so far.

Russian troops have been advancing around Kharkiv but Moscow claims it does not intend to capture Ukraine's second city.
