"Just take us to the grave": Civilians in Gaza decry latest bombing of Khan Younis

Displaced Gazans in the Khan Younis town of Hamad packed their belongings and headed towards Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip on Sunday, following Israeli bombardments and warnings to evacuate certain areas.

“Just take us to the grave and be done with it,” displaced Gazan Hamdi Zaheer said, stating he yet again must evacuate the “safe areas” that the Israeli army told them to move to.

Plus, bombardments from Israeli war planes and artillery were concentrated on southern Gaza's Khan Younis and Rafah on Monday, where residents said hospitals were struggling to cope with the flow of wounded.

"They tell you it is a safe area, but there is no safe area in all of the Gaza strip. It is all lies and manipulations," Gaza resident Salah Al-Arja said, whose house was hit by Israeli bombardment.
