So far, the Canadian government has helped more than 1,600 Canadians, permanent residents, and eligible family members flee Israel since the country was attacked by Hamas militants.

Now, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly is warning Canadians in Lebanon to "get out" of the country.

Crystal Goomansingh reports from Tyre and Alma Al-Shaab, where thousands of residents have been displaced as tensions rise.
