There's been an alarming trend rising in Canadian cities as seemingly random and sometimes deadly attacks have been making headlines in major hubs like Toronto and Vancouver.

Commuters across the country are understandably concerned for their safety as a result. But as questions are raised about what is taking place, some experts say mental health could potentially be a cause.
