Link between rise in temporary housing and mental health crisis revealed

More than 95,000 people in England were living in temporary accommodation at the end of last year according to the Department of Communities.

And cramped conditions, damp and constant instability all too often creates a huge strain on mental health.

The Centre for Mental Health has warned that the increasing use of temporary accomodation to solve the housing crisis will only add to the pressure on services.
