The Alberta Government is facing criticism from the medical community over it's decision to move from a pandemic to an endemic response next month.
As of Aug. 16, anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 in the province will no longer have to isolate. Alberta is also planning to offer less testing and contact tracing.
Officials say vaccines are allowing for this shift to happen safely, though other provinces aren't considering anything similar. As Heather Yourex-West reports, there are fears that Alberta's move may be happening too soon
