Iraq’s electoral commission has begun a manual recount of some of the results from this month’s parliamentary elections.
The recounts are in response to claims of vote-rigging by parties who lost their seats.
The electoral commission said it had received more than 1,400 complaints, but most had been dismissed because they were not supported by evidence.
