Thailand: Election body certifies general election results

After weeks of political uncertainty, the Thai election body has certified the election results, paving the way for the first session of the new parliament - currently scheduled for July 4.
The opposition Move Forward party won the most votes but its leader still faces barriers to becoming prime minister.
Move Forward's agenda revolves around drastic changes to how Thailand works, which has put them at odds with the forces who have long controlled the country through military-backed rule.
