Iranian-Canadians are calling on the federal government to take a stand on behalf of thousands imprisoned for protesting against the regime in Iran after two people have already been executed in a brutal crackdown by the Islamic republic.

The executions of Iranian protestors without any legal representation, evidence or chosen legal counsel, is tearing Vancouver resident Golnaz Fahkari apart.

But she's transforming her pain into action - pleading with Canadian MPs to become political sponsors of Iranian political prisoners, most of whom are in danger of imminent execution on bogus charges.
