Firefighters in British Columbia are making some progress against a catastrophic wildfire that wiped-out the village of Lytton, killing two people during a record heat wave.
Dry, hot and windy conditions are allowing that blaze, as well as more than 170 raging across the province, to thrive.
Investigators can’t confirm reports that a CN rail sparked the blaze while passing Lytton during a historic heatwave, until crews get the flames under control. Paul Haysom reports.
