At least three people are dead and dozens were injured in the United States, after an Amtrak passenger train careened off the tracks in Montana, not far from the Canadian border.

The train was en route to Chicago from Seattle when it was derailed on Saturday, toppling several passenger cars on their sides.

The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board has sent a 14-member investigation crew to determine what caused the train to derail. Jennifer Johnson reports on the investigation so far.
