In a cruel twist, the Cook family may not be eligible for any compensation for the time they spent in jail or caught in the criminal justice system – but their lawyer Bryan Wrench says he will back them to the hilt if they decide to try. ‘We're looking at all possible civil claims to redress the pain that was suffered,’ he told Tara Brown. ‘But no amount of money can repair what they've been through.’
