While their visit to the Vatican has been postponed due to concerns about the Omicron variant, members of an Indigenous delegation are optimistic the trip will happen.

The delegation of up to 30 people includes residential school survivors and Indigenous leaders, who are all calling on Pope Francis to apologize for the Church's role in the residential school system.

Abigail Bimman explains how they're using the extra time to finalize their messages to the Pope about the cruelty of residential schools.
