This week, two cases of harassment of scheduled castes have come to light in Uttar Pradesh, which has shaken the society. In Shravasti district, a Dalit student died allegedly after the teacher thrashed him for not paying his fee. While in Muzaffarnagar, a Pradhan beat up a scheduled caste man with slippers.
