Sky News' Europe correspondent Adam Parsons witnessed the rescue of hundreds of people from a hopelessly dilapidated and overloaded fishing boat.

The boat left the Libyan port of Tobruk packed with hundreds of people, but with food and water running out - the captain abandoned his passengers to an uncertain fate.
