On "The West Block," Mercedes Stephenson presses Huawei Canada’s Vice President of Government Affairs Morgan Elliott on why the company won’t condemn the arbitrary detention of Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig in China.

The two Canadians were put in Chinese prisons following the arrest of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou in Vancouver on a U.S. extradition warrant.

Elliott says, “Our top three priorities are bring the two Michaels home, send Meng Wanzhou back to China and then we can start talking about business.”
