America’s top diplomat joins Canada in calling for release of "2 Michaels" detained in China

When asked if Michael Spavor and Michael Kovrig, the two Canadians detained in China, are on Biden’s radar, Brucker says “absolutely [...] I think you can count on the United States to continue to work with Canada to secure the release of the two Michaels.”

The Canadian governmnt confirmed Saturday that its officials have met online with former diplomat Michael Kovrig, who, along with businessman Michael Spavor, has been confined since Dec. 10, 2018.
