There was a kind of tragic inevitability about it. You keep hearing it was London's turn. Then there was the way Londoners coped with the horror and the carnage - more than 50 dead, more than 700 injured. The stoicism, the calm, the very British resolve. But this crisis is far from over. There are still serious questions to be answered and the constant fear it will happen again. In fact, just hours ago, 20,000 people were evacuated from the city centre in Birmingham as Britain remained on high alert.
