Khap Panchayat in Haryana's Hisar, has taken a big decision to increase the prices of milk. The panchayat has urged dairy farmers to sell the cost at Rs 100 per litre from March 1 to central bodies. This decision was taken in protest against rising fuel prices and agrarian laws.
A leader of the khap panchayat stated that the common people will continue to get milk at Rs 55 to Rs 60 per litre. "We want to awaken the government," he added.
