The world has never been more threatened or more divided, and is facing the "greatest cascade” of crises, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres told world leaders on Tuesday, sounding an alarm about the climate change crisis, COVID-19 pandemic, and crises in Afghanistan and other nations that are thwarting peace.
He also spoke about mistrust, which he called the other “disease [that] is spreading in our world today”.
