It’s Groundhog Day, and the famed and furry forecaster of spring Punxsutawney Phil has predicted six more weeks of winter for the U.S.! The famous rodent saw his shadow Thursday during the 137th Groundhog Day celebration in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile in Canada, Celebrity groundhog Shubenacadie Sam kicked off the country's first prediction shortly after sunrise over Nova Scotia, followed later by Ontario’s Wiarton Willie.
