Minister for Resources Shane Jones has confirmed that the Government will introduce a bill later this year to reverse the previous government's ban on oil and gas exploration in 2018.

The announcement came after thousands took to the streets to protest what they labelled the Government's "war on nature".
MPs Shane Jones and Green Party co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick joined TVNZ's Breakfast to debate this reversal.
