Government 'undeterred' on plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda

Prime Minister Boris Johnson told his Cabinet colleagues that they remained undeterred in it's policy of sending asylum seekers to Rwanda.

He acknowledged that many of his colleagues' families came to the UK and benefited from a welcome to Britain, but he said they were now focussed on promoting safe and legal routes into the country rather than dangerous and illegal cross-Channel migration.
