The U.S. has now surpassed 12 million positive tests for COVID-19, after breaking another daily record of new cases on Friday. But as Jennifer Johnson reports, tens of millions of Americans are still planning to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday, even after being urged not to.

Plus, as the so-called Brexit transition period nears its end, Canada has struck a transitional bilateral trade agreement with the U.K., which one of our country's largest trading partners. As Crystal Goomansigh explains, the deal was done in the nick of time.

And tens of thousands of Ethiopians have fled the northern region of Tigray into Sudan, as a deadly war rages between Ethiopian defence forces and Tigray regional armed forces. As Redmond Shannon reports, both sides are being accused of stoking tensions that have lead to a staggering humanitarian crisis.
