There has been an alarming surge of COVID-19 cases across Canada. Records are being broken on a near-daily basis, and there are calls for authorities to do more to stop the spread of the virus. Mike Drolet looks at how some provinces are hesitant to enforce restrictions.

Seniors in long-term care and retirement homes make up over 80 per cent of Canada’s COVID-19 deaths, and there are now over 350 homes with active outbreaks in the country.
