Some of the civilians who were trapped for weeks inside the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol, Ukraine have finally been evacuated. So far, around 100 civilians have escaped, but as many as 100,000 more remain trapped inside the besieged city in total. Jennifer Johnson has more on the evacuation effort and a surprise visit to the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv.

A shipment of aid sent to Ukraine by a group from Alberta has reportedly been hijacked. Volunteers say several trucks were transporting the supplies when they came under attack. Heather Yourex-West has the details.
