German chancellor Olaf Scholz has visited an air base taking part in a huge ongoing NATO exercise. Scholz has been at the Jagel airbase in northern Germany talking to pilots and inspecting the aircraft being used in the maneuvres. Air Defender 23 is the largest air defence drill in the bloc's history - with 10 thosand people and 250 aircraft involved.
